Lambing Experience

Come and get some hands-on experience in our lambing shed. From assisting births to carrying out husbandry tasks and routine farm duties.

This is the chance to spend some time in our lambing sheds working with the sheep and gaining some hands-on experience. This is a unique and immersive experience which is available to people aged 13+. Under thirteens must be accompanied by an adult for the session (for which an extra ticket will be required). You will be working with our staff in the lambing shed assisting with the births of 100 breeding ewes and the new born lambs alongside carrying out some routine barn duties.

Suitable clothing is required including a coat and either boots or wellies.

All safety precautions have been carried out along with risk assessment for each animal on the farm. Risks will be highlighted at the start of each session.
