Make your own drum lampshade

Learn to make your own 30cm diameter drum lampshade

Lampshades are a great way to bring extra print and colour to your home, or to sort out that unused lamp or replace an unloved shade you might have. We will teach you how to make a shade just like the ones we sell at T&T! This larger size suits most bases and rooms.

This workshop will take you through the production of a lampshade for a lamp base or ceiling fitting, and you will end up with a finished product to take home.

We will provide everything you need, included in the class price, other than fabric.

If you have a piece of fabric you would like to use, do bring it along. It needs to be non-stretch and at least 98cm wide x 26cm high.

If not, you can choose to buy one of our fabrics. We will provide a few to choose from and you can decide on the night. There is a small extra charge of £4.50 for the fabric, collected at the class.

Extra lampshade kits and supplies will be available to buy, in case you get the bug to make more or want to give one to a friend (you could even pass on your new-found skills!)
