Lancashire Architects Lecture Series - Make Architects
Lancashire Architects host Pete Matcham Partner at Make Architects.
Lancashire Architects host Pete Matcham Partner at Make Architects to discuss the completion of their redevelopment of a 2.4-acre site in Blackpool into a state-of-the-art workplace for more than 3,000 employees from the Department for Work and Pensions. Part of a new business and civic quarter in Blackpool’s town centre, this 7-storey purpose-built hub will help streamline the Civil Service’s administrative functions, drive footfall in the area and support the city’s overall economic growth.
Pete Matcham joined Make in 2012 and has more than 20 years’ experience as an architect. During his time here, he has focussed on workplace and education schemes, including leading the design and delivery of the RIBA award-winning Big Data Institute for the University of Oxford as well as 80 Charlotte Street, One Leadenhall and most recently King Street, Blackpool.
Please join us for welcome drinks at the Central Methodist Church in Preston from 17:30 on Tuesday 17th of February with the event starting at 18:00.
