Launch event for CLES report - A roadmap to decarbonisation: retrofit of social housing stock in the South of Scotland

<p>You are invited to this launch event for the <strong>A roadmap to decarbonisation: retrofit of social housing stock in the South of Scotland</strong>, takes place at Eildon Housing Association Headquarters in Selkirk on Tuesday 21 February 2023.</p><p>The report examined the potential for a Community Wealth Building approach to adding energy efficiency measures to Registered Social Landlords’ housing stock in the South of Scotland. It is available to <a href="https://cles.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/A-roadmap-to-decarbonisation-FINAL.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">view here</a>. </p><p>The report concludes that by using their influence to develop the retrofit supply chain, registered social landlords in Dumfries &amp; Galloway and the Scottish Borders could create more than 2,200 jobs and £112m in direct Gross Value Added (GVA) by 2030.</p><p>Tom Arthur MSP, Minister for Public Finance, Planning &amp; Community Wealth, will deliver the keynote speech at the event.
