Mindset Revolution: opening space for youth-led change in mental health

Mindset Revolution is a new project that looks at youth mental health policies and services from young people&#x27;s own perspective. The project is funded by UKRI/RSA and led by Manchester Metropolitan University in partnership with Katy Rubin, Youth Focus North West, Reform Radio, 42nd St and GM I-Thrive. We want to create space and provide resources for young people to make a difference, invent their own spaces of participation, where their voice can be heard loud and clear, and from where they can help shape youth mental health policies and change how services are delivered.We’ve already started doing some work on this with young people from across Greater Manchester and we got mental health professionals and policymakers to commit to actions that can lead to change. In this new project we want to develop these ideas and make sure change really happens.This event is an opportunity to show young people in the community, youth, mental health services and policymakers what we have been doing so far and how they can work with us going further. W﻿e&#x27;ll share more about the activities led by young people that we&#x27;ll support through this project, including Legislative Theatre, online participation and participatory research on youth mental health in Greater Manchester. The event will include different creative workshop spaces for people to learn more about this and other related projects on youth mental health in GM. It&#x27;s also an opportunity to get together and have FUN!J﻿oin us and help us shake things up!I﻿MPORTANT!
