GTA University Centre

Join us to find out about the IoD Development Programmes in Guernsey at a launch on 4 February 2021.

Due to lockdown restrictions we will be delivering this session in real time in a virtual classroom on the appointed date or dates. You will receive instructions on how to join and interact once your place is confirmed.You can find out about the IoD Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction, the IoD Accelerated Certificate in Company Direction and the IoD Introductory Certificate in Board Readiness. There will be a short presentation by IoD Guernsey, the GTA and a past student, which will be followed by a Q&amp;A session. Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be provided and there is no charge to attend. Please let us know in advance by booking a place if you would like to attend however so that we know numbers for catering.

The event is from 12:30-13:30 but registration with tea, coffee and sandwiches will be available from 12:00 noon.Book online <a href="https://www.gta.gg/course/launch-iod-development-programmes/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.The IoD Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction programme consists of five modules and aims to equip you as a director with the all-round skills, knowledge and understanding essential for directing an organisation from a strategic perspective. Each module concentrates on particular aspects of the Director’s and Board’s role. The first four modules make up the Certificate in Company Direction which, if you wish, can then lead on to the Diploma in Company Direction.The IoD Accelerated Certificate in Company Direction offers an intensive alternative to the modular Certificate programme, which forms the first part of the Company Direction Programme. The delivery of this course takes place over 5½ days and covers all of the modules in the standard delivery.The IoD Introductory Certificate in Board Readiness is a three day foundation programme providing an important start to the IoD qualification pathway for aspiring directors.
