Consensusis a non-aligned organisation fostering open and inclusive debate amongst different wings of the Labour Party. We facilitate rigorous discussion with the principal aim of developing ideas that the Labour movement can unite around. Consensus

We're introducing Consensus: a new, non-aligned group within the Labour movement. As a group, we believe it is essential to remember that Labour members are more similar than we are different, and it is part of our ethos to find the common ground we all share — in order to ensure electoral success in 2020.
 
Our aim is to provide an open platform for all strands of thinking: to create a space that does not discriminate based on political beliefs or outlooks; one which fosters free and courteous expression and constructive dialogue.
 
Join us for our launch event in Parliament. We'll be discussing the best ways for the Party to unite with former Labour Policy Review Coordinator Jon Cruddas MP, Councillor Sam Tarry of TSSA and Momentum, Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury Seema Malhotra MP, and Stephen Kinnock MP.
 
There will be an opportunity for Q&A, and we’re looking forward to seeing you there.
