This is an online and in person event, joining links for online tickets will be sent in advance. Printed copies of the Toolkit will be available to those attending in person. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
This half-day event will bring together stakeholders from the NHS, Third Sector, Scottish Government and University as we launch our co-created Toolkit to support implementation and evaluation of evidence-based breastfeeding support in the NHS. The Action 4 Breastfeeding (A4B) Toolkit is the culmination of the A4B study and has been co-created with stakeholder input from across the UK.
The A4B Toolkit details the key evidence-based components for effective breastfeeding support: the A4B programme. During this event we will hear presentations on the key elements of the Toolkit and A4B Programme, including presentations from the NHS Tayside Infant Feeding Team who have implemented the A4B programme in practice. We will open the event with key speakers from UNICEF and the Scottish Government to hear about the importance of breastfeeding within current policy and public health.
This is an in-person event at University of Dundee Dalhousie Building which is accessible and has nearby parking options. Lunch and refreshments are provided and there will be pre-printed copies of the Toolkit available to those attending in person. For those unable to attend in person but wishing to attend online, please note this on your Eventbrite ticket.
