REVIEWS: A total of 24 x 50 min sessions are available from a choice of 6 reviewers

Rachael Ball, Wallis Eates, Kate Evans, Karrie Fransman, Simone Lia, and Una

Six of these sessions will be offered to the shortlisted entries as part of their prize.

18 sessions are now being offered initially to all entrants of the LDC comic prize.

In the event of any spaces remaining it will then be made more widely available to all genders. The cost of a review is at a heavily subsidised cost of £27 and this has been made possible by our Arts Council funding. These reviews must be booked and paid for in advance and bookings are non-refundable. In the case of signing up and then being shortlisted, the payment will be refunded.

FORMAT

The sessions will be 50 mins long and applicants must bring a print or copy of their work to be reviewed on the day and are asked to include a short synopsis. The review/ mentoring session will include a critical response to artworks and projects along with advice on a practical and artistic level. The sessions can also be opportunities to ask for professional development advice. The reviews will take the format of the first 15 mins for the reviewer to look through the work and the remaining 35 mins of feedback, discussion and mentoring.

Applicants can choose one session with a reviewer of their choice from the list below on a first come/ first served basis.
