Layer Cake Decorating MasterclassJoin Masterbaker Jeni Iannetta of Bad Girl Bakery at Braw Tea Cafe where you'll learn the art of layer cake decorating! This masterclass will teach you how to use buttercream finishes for a natural, contemporary finish that focuses on flavour as well as style. This informal event guarantees a sweet afternoon! The workshop will include a cup of tea/coffee from local award winning roastery Modern Standard, as well as a sweet treat from Braw Tea bakers to keep you perky! Jeni is a Dundee lass who started out as a home baker. Her cookbook ‘Bad Girl Bakes’ was published locally by Kitchen Press. Whether you're a baking enthusiast or just looking to try something new, this event is perfect for all skill levels. This event is free as part of Dundee Food Festival and is open to bakers over 14 years old- we are sorry we do not have space for younger children to attend. Jeni Iannetta is a successful cafe owner, cook school and bakery based in the Highlands and a published food writer. She is a valued member of Braw Tea's Advisory Group We will talk to Jeni during the demo to find out about her journey to food as her passion and successful career.Braw Tea Cafe is an award winning social enterprise cafe supporting women who have challenges in life. They offer training and personal development to the women volunteers and use the power of cake to do something braw! They have gained a great reputation for their bakes and often use Jeni's yummy recipes.
