With our philosophy of open and inclusive education, we encourage students to examine the past and question the present. Our Student Enterprise programmes, business incubator, and industry collaborations form a dynamic network to help our enterprising graduates launch and grow businesses.Now that we have moved to a single purpose built site on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, we’re forging partnerships, opening up opportunities, and creating connections with east London’s schools, community and industry. Part of East Bank, a new culture, education and innovation development, our single-site campus will spark collaboration, experimentation, and inspiration – all under one roof.In doing so, we’ll continue to pioneer how we all consume and practice fashion. Visit the brand new campus for London College of Fashion, UAL (LCF) on East Bank to learn about new and innovative approaches for utilising creativity to foster community cohesion, respond to urgent social crises, offer employment and training opportunities to support those with experiences of displacement.To coincide with the launch of a new monthly talks programme LCF Sampled, where a range of experts, thinkers and influencers share their knowledge with students, staff and the public. LCF Sampled will range from short talks, performances and readings, with no event being the same.Panel Discussion: Designed for Life6-7:15pm, Lecture Hall (Mezzanine Level)This panel chaired by Professor Dilys Williams, Director of LCF, UAL's Centre for Sustainable Fashion will feature contributions from <a href="https://www.arts.ac.uk/colleges/london-college-of-fashion/cultural-programme/designed-for-life" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Designed for Life</a>:Claire Swift, Director of LCF, UAL’s Portal Centre for Social Impact and its award-winning programmes such as Making For Change.Dr. Francesco Mazzarella who will represent LCF, UAL’s Centre for Sustainable Fashion's Decolonising Fashion and Textiles project .Professor L ucy Orta, Visual Artist and Chair of Art and Environment at LCF, UAL’s Centre for Sustainable Fashion and lead artist for Traces: Stories of Migration.Pallavi Chamarty, a co-curator of Designed for Life's interactive living room installation Nana's House which reflects and represents the broad heterogeneity of lives and experiences in East London.

The East London Art Prize is an all-media art prize designed to showcase the talent of artists working and living in east London, with an accompanying event programme supporting artists' careers and opportunities.
