The London Design & Engineering University Technical College (LDE UTC) is a heavily oversubscribed college with a brand new building for 13-19 year olds. This inspiring new college is designed for students who are passionate about engineering and the built environment. London Design & Engineering UTC

The heavily oversubscribed London Design & Engineering University Technical College (LDE UTC) are pleased to be able to invite prospective year 10/12 students and their parents/carers in to meet the staff and students.
This open event will provide you with the chance to look around our amazing facilities which include our specialist engineering, robotic, FAB LAB, VR LAB, Fujitsu Hub and the world’s Largest LEGO innovation studio. You will have the chance to experience some hands on activities with Pepper/Nao robots, explore the world through Oculus Rift and HTC vive and develop your understanding of engineering through LEGO.
Principal & Chief Executive, Geoffrey Fowler, will be hosting two presentations, 18:30 and 19:30 describing why LDE UTC is so unique and so oversubscribed.
Additionally, our very own students will be on hand to provide guided tours of the building and introduce you to our dedicated team of staff who will be on hand to talk you through our impressive curriculum.
Please note: LDE UTC is heavily oversubscribed and therefore places are limited for September 2017. It is essential that you apply on-time (before January 31st) as application received after this date are classed as late and are unlikely to result in having a place.
Applications forms can be found online and in hard copy at the open events. We will be accepting application forms during our events.
LDE UTC is conveniently located on the University of East London’s (UEL) campus, accessed by Cyprus DLR station, and served by buses 101, 366, 376,474, 678. Applicants are welcome from across London, please see our admissions policy on our website.
*NB Please register for the event in the prospective student’s name (i.e. not the parent’s name). Registering a parental e-mail address is fine, as further details will be sent out to this address during the recruitment process.
