Nature inspired art workshop with Ink Pareidolia at Sappho's Cafe & Community Space

Create texture rubbings using leaves and other natural materials - this will be the base for your own illustrations directly inspired by nature.

By using leaves as a starting point, you won't have the pressure of a blank page! This basic mark-making technique can be taken as far as you wish with drawing or kept as a simple but detailed foliage image.

Suitable for people of any skill level who are able to hold a drawing utensil. Adjustments can be made for anyone who struggles with fine motor skills.

Don't worry if you can't arrive on time; this workshop will be casual to accommodate those with work commitments.

Adults or children above 7 - all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Leaves will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own that you wish to use. We ask that you don't bring fresh flowers to avoid pollen affecting other attendees.
