Learn Big Data Wrangling with Python
Interested in learning how you can use Python for data wrangling? Sick of using Excel, SQL or always wanted to learn Python data analysis? If you are a developer or someone with some basic knowledge of Python, you can also learn to be a data wrangler.
In this class we'll dive deep into data analysis with pandas, learn how to use Python automation tools for data wrangling and cover an introduction to some Big Data principles, libraries and use cases.
NOTE: Although much of the curriculum is written, I like to vary it for each class depending on the interest and level of the attendees, so make sure you fill out the questionaire form and please let me know directly if you have any special curriculum requests.
About you:
You know beginner to intermediate Python. You know beginner to intermediate data analysis. If you are already a pandas and big data expert, this class is NOT for you (but I'd love to meet you, I'm sure you're great!). If you are interested in the course and have never used Python, please take one of the many free and available introduction to Python courses. (Try codeschool or codeacademy to start, feel free to look at more, feel free to message with any problems you run into)
About me:
I've been using Python since 2008, first for data wrangling and web development (journalism), now for data wrangling and big data analysis (marketing). I have taught many successful Python classes on topics ranging from web scraping, web development and data analysis.
