Hannah Thompson is the owner of Stitching Kitchen. She set up the business in 2017 to share her passion and skills in all things involving textiles, fabric and threads. Her courses are relaxed and fun, they are held in her Stitching Kitchen in Brackley, Northants where she provides a range of teas, coffee and homemade cakes.

Learn the absolute basics of knitting and make a washcloth as your first project. Emma will guide you through the fundamentals and build your skills so you will be confident to pick up a knitting pattern and make a start.In this two and a half hour session you will learn to cast on, knit, purl, cast off and read a knitting pattern. Emma is an excellent tutor who is a life long knitter and crocheter, she is passionate about sharing her skills and has infinite patience.All equipment and yarn is included in the course and you will have the pattern and needles to practice at home.
