Cancelled: Learn to ride INDOOR [WIGAN]

New for 2020, Learn to Ride takes to the gym and goes indoors in order to beat the winter chill and help kick start that New Year's cycling resolution!

If it’s been a while since you’ve ridden a bike, or maybe you’ve never had the chance to try, Learn to Ride is the course for you. Learn to Ride courses are led by qualified instructors who look to teach the very basics of cycling, offering support and guidance at your pace.

The course takes place at Central Park Leisure Centre and lasts around two hours, giving you plenty of time to hone your skills… if not, come back as many times as it takes!

Over two hours you’ll learn things like

• What you should check before each ride
• Starting and stopping using your brakes
• Balancing and control
• Why speed is you friend when it comes to cycling
• Steering and stopping quickly if you need to

Bikes will be provided for use, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Please note that these courses are only open to those 12 years and above with 12-16yo being accompanied by an adult.
