<h3>What are these events all about?</h3>Want to learn how to harness the power of your data, but are short on time? If you’re new to Tableau and Alteryx, or an experienced user, then our speedy 2-hour hands-on sessions are for you (1.5 hour training, and up to 30 mins at the end for questions!).One of the features of the Data School training program is getting to teach others. We&#x27;ve decided that we should teach YOU, the public, instead of each other. We&#x27;ll run 4x 90 minute training sessions concurrently.Our sessions are hands-on, so make sure you are ready-to-go by downloading a copy of the software for the session on your laptop (you can download trial versions of Tableau Desktop and Alteryx Designer).Interested in this one? You can check out the sessions below:Using Alteryx Favourites &amp; Transformations Tools, with Eamonn and Keren: This session will introduce you to the tools in the Alteryx favourite and transformation tabs, covering everything from your basic data input tool up to more complex tools such as transpose and cross tab. You are free to follow along with the demonstrations or just watch and learn.Macros In Alteryx 101, with Tara and Flavio: This will cover three different types of macros in Alteryx. This includes: standard, batch and iterative. We will be going through how they are different as well as how to create these. We will also talk about the use case for each one. There will be some exercises to do throughout which will hopefully help people who are new to macros get the gist of these three concepts.Understanding LODs: In Desktop and Prep, with Stephen and Edward: This session will cover level of detail expressions (LOD’s) in Tableau Desktop and Prep Builder.- What does level of detail mean?- Use cases and why they’re helpful- The different types of LOD’s- The limitationsWe will give live demonstrations in both Desktop and Prep, using a variety of examples.Get to Know Dashboard Actions and Containers, with Diaraye and Shahbaz: In this session we&#x27;ll be going through the five different actions (the filter, the highlight, the URL, the go to sheet and the set action) that are available to you within tableau. We&#x27;ll also cover dashboard containers and take you through the types of containers as well as the floating and tiled variants. This will be a session packed with examples and use cases and hopefully make your dashboarding going forward a much more enjoyable task!

<h3>FAQ</h3>How do I sign up for a session?When you register for the training, please select the ticket type for the session you’d like to attend. Please only select x1 ticket type. What do I need to have installed on the day?You will need to your own laptop with a recent version of the software installed.
