We invite all communities to participate in our ‘Zoom’ workshop and learn about Polish Easter Traditions.

Polish Klan Association, Polish Community School John Paul II, Poland Street Organisation and Mazury Dance Company of the Polish YMCA aim is to promote and celebrate Polish culture and Easter traditions. By reaching out to the local community and inviting you to be involved in our project, we hope to give you a better understanding of Polish culture.Easter is an important date in the Roman Catholic calendar celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter in Poland is a time when family come together. Beautifully decorated baskets, filled with painted eggs and food, are taken to church to be blessed and families then share the Easter breakfast.Easter is a joyous and fun-filled time and we would love you to join us in learning about our Easter traditions and trying a range of various crafts and activities.* Poland Street Organisation will deliver an Easter Egg decorating workshop and competition with prizes for children.* Polish Klan Association &amp; Polish Community School John Paul II will tell you the history and meaning of Polish Easter traditions.* Mazury Dance Co. will present folklore fun &amp; Easter traditions.THIS MEETING WILL BE RECORDED AND SHOWN LIVE ON FACEBOOK!
