An invitation to explore therapeutic work in Westminster and its connection to global practice through 'A state of passion' screening
Join the screening of ‘A State Of Passion’ and discussion panel with Westminster talking therapies service in an invitation to reflect on the therapeutic work in Westminster and the work globally in zones of conflict and humanitarian crisis. We are lucky to have Director Carol Mansour and Co director Muna Khalidi to video in for questions following the screeningThe state of passion campaign has goals of: empowering and mobilizing medical students to uphold ethical principles and take action against violations on protected medical infrastructure in conflict zone; amplifying survivor testimonies, like Ghassan’s, to document and bear witness to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The event will give opportunity if you choose, to connect as individuals to a wider collective and take action, through fundraising, bearing witness and raising voices in spaces they are not yet heard. This screening is free to attend or donation based, spaces are very limited and expected to go quickly so please do update us if you are no longer able to attend to enable your place to be redistributed. You may make a donation of your choice on our JUSTGIVING page which will go to Health Workers for Palestine
Once registered you will receive your invite with direction to access the house of commons
