Learning from the Future
Colette Sadler with dancer Leah Marojevic
This January, DANSOX will be joined by choreographer and multi-disciplinary artist Colette Sadler!
Join us for a restaging of Colette's 2019 solo work Learning From The Future (Made in Scotland showcase 2019), a 'post-human dance fiction' featuring dancer Leah Marojevic.
Imagine a post-human future where bodies are on the verge of disappearance. The futuristic female cyborg Body A inhabits a science-fiction world. The choreography uses movement to amplify the primitive power of bodies against the background of their dematerialisation and disappearance.
This event will feature an introduction by Colette and a sharing of material from the work danced by Leah Marojevic. This will be followed by a Q&A session and a drinks reception.
