The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force next year and will be enforceable on many UK businesses.

Loretta Maxfield has more than 10 years’ experience in advising a range of public bodies, research/education institutions and private businesses (up to £300m+ turnover) on data protection, privacy and other regulatory matters. She sits on the Law Society committee for Intellectual Property and is qualified in Scots and English law.
Her data work includes security, analytics, cross-border data sharing, outsourced processing, customer profiling and marketing activity as well as representing clients in dealings with the Information Commissioner.
