Event description

Description

Reflective practice is a way of considering our experiences to improve the way we work. It has multiple uses within health and social care, it enables us to process complex practice situations and supports us to learn from, and move past difficult issues. It also supports life-long learning and the act of reflection is a great way to increase confidence and become a more proactive and skillful professional.

In this half-day session participants will:

      • Review the theory that underpins safe and effective practice
      • Engage actively with reflective activities
      • Explore ways of incorporating reflective practice into your everyday work.

This session will be delivered by Nicky Lambert, Associate Professor in Mental Health at Middlesex University.

* This session is only open to social workers and staff working in social care across the Teaching Partnership (Barnet, Hackney, Haringey, Enfield, and Norwood).
