How do Local Economic Development Actors respond to shocks? Re: act

In the midst of the refugee crisis or Brexit, the 2017 Forum will focus on how local authorities, the private sector, NGOs and international organisations throughout the world come to terms with “shocks”, such as rapid economic change, significant political and social changes as well as natural disasters in order to manage inequality, social and economic marginalisation, welfare needs and emerging economic opportunities.
