Leeds Dads is a voluntary organisation that brings together a diverse community of fathers for social interaction and support.We host playgroups for dads and kids, organise social events for dads and families, and provide information and signpost to expert parenting support.Leeds Dads is unique in our key aim of supporting fathers to actively engage with their children and build lasting relationships.

Join Leeds Dads and BoomChikkaBoom for Dads with long-haired children to learn some styling tips! This week: French Braids Cheat

Session 3 Learn how to master French braids with Faye Kenny at BoomChikkaBoom. French braids are NOT easy and can take years of practice. However, Faye will be demonstrating a cheat to give you the same effect with much less hassle! We will also cover looking for head-lice, recognising the signs and what to do.This session is brought to you by Leeds Dads and funded by Hands Face Space. It's designed for Dads with long-haired children and will be live streamed via Zoom from 10:00-10:30am by Slung Low in Leeds. If you prefer not to practice on your own child until you have mastered this, we have 10 styling heads (with options for straight and afro hair) available to borrow for 1 week. You will pay a £10 deposit which will be refunded to you upon its return. Styling heads are to be collected from and returned to Slung Low in Holbeck (between 10-6 Mon-Friday)Sessions are free but donations to Leeds Dads would be gratefully recieved.
