Leeds Lent Prayer Diary Launch
An evening of food, to meet people from the projects featured in the diary, hear about what God is doing in our city and to pray for Leeds.
Please join us from 6pm for food and stalls hosted by Leeds projects featured in the diary. This is an excellent opportunity to connect, explore, and network with those serving across the city.
During the evening we'll hear from guest speakers Cllr Emma Flint and Rev'd Jon Swales. Cllr Emma Flint will speak on the importance of the Christian community engaging with a wide variety of civic structures and partners to bring more of God's Kingdom into Leeds. Rev'd Jon Swales about the need for us to combine both social action and prayer together.
We'll also hear from a panel of people working faithfully in a variety of neighbourhoods and initiatives (Foster4Leeds, Unity in Poverty Action and Sunflower ESOL), as they share inspiring stories of what God is doing in Leeds. We’ll have the opportunity to pray for these projects and the areas they serve.
This will be a powerful evening to lift up Leeds before God, listen to the voices of those on the ground, and unite our faith as we believe for transformation across the city.
