Lego robotics and coding workshop for ages 8-13

Oundle LibraryOundle, England
Thursday, Apr 9 from 10 am to 12 pm
Overview

Join PrepareRobo at Oundle library for an exciting, fun-packed Lego robotics and programming workshop. This is for children aged 8-13.

In this hands-on workshop children will design and build their own LEGO racing robots. The children will work in small teams and use their own ideas to design a robot that can move as fast as possible.

Once the robots are built, participants will program them and test them, experimenting with speed, steering and design improvements.

The workshop focuses on creativity, teamwork and problem-solving, while introducing children to the basics of robotics and programming in a fun and practical way.

Suitable for ages 8–13. No previous experience required.

You must book a ticket for all adults and children who will be present. If possible, please limit the amount of adults attending to allow more children to attend.

If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite so that other children can book onto the event.

If you have any difficulties with the Eventbrite website and are unable to cancel your ticket, please contact the library. You can call us on 0300 126 3000 or email us at oundle.libraryplus@northnorthants.gov.uk

If you realise on the day of the event that you are unable to attend, i.e. due to illness, please still contact us so that we are aware you are not coming.

If you have any questions about this event, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
