Sendiass is a confidential and impartial information, advice and support service for parents, carers, children and young people (up to 25 years) on issues related to Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).

Face-to-face workshop for Suffolk parents exploring the process of support in schools for pupils with SEN, disabilities and medical needs.

Leiston Children's Centre

SENDIASS is offering parents and carers a face-to-face workshop in different parts of Suffolk, explaining the process of SEN support in schools, including support for pupils with disabilities and medical needs.  Please only book if you believe you can attend.The session will explore:<ul><li>The graduated cycle of SEN support and how parents and pupils are involved</li></ul><ul><li>What happens if a child or young person needs more support</li></ul><ul><li>School responsibilities for supporting pupils with disabilities and medical needs</li></ul>Refreshments will be available.  We regret we cannot offer creche facilities. Wearing a mask in Children&#x27;s Centres is now a personal choice.
