Let's Dance 2026

Let's Dance 2026

Royal Ballet SchoolLondon, England
Sunday, Mar 8 from 10:15 am to 5:30 pm GMT
Overview

To celebrate Let's Dance 2026, we will be hosting dance classes for all ages and abilities to participate in.

Last year, The Royal Ballet School opened to public for the first time with a day of free classes as part of Angela Rippon’s nationwide Let’s Dance initiative. The initiative aimed to get the nation dancing, and we were thrilled to welcome people from all walks of life into our studios to experience the joy of movement firsthand, many of whom had never stepped foot in a ballet studio before.

This year, we are doing it all over again and we can't wait to welcome people of all ages and abilities into our studios - if you've never danced before, this event is for you!

The response to our last year's event was overwhelming and spaces sold out in 48 hours - so make sure to book early.

BOOKING INFORMATION

  • You may only book for ONE class as we would like as many people as possible to experience dancing with us. If you book more than one class, we will contact you to cancel your multiple bookings and confirm which singular class you can attend
  • All those booking a space to attend should participate in the class – no spectators. If you are an adult bringing children, please be prepared to join in. You must book tickets for all members of your party who wish to enter the School
  • If you require a carer on the day, please ensure you have selected an add-on carer ticket when making the booking
  • We cannot take responsibility for supervising children. If you are bringing a child, you must supervise your child at all times.

FEEDBACK FROM LAST YEAR'S PARTICIPANTS

'It’s been so much fun and such a privilege to be able to come to this location and be taught by world class dancers.'

'It was lovely. Something we could do together as a community and it being free meant that we could attend as a group and there were no barriers to dance whatsoever.'

'It’s just wonderful because it’s not what I would normally do and it gets the brain thinking.'
