“Let's Link Up” is a monthly discussion and networking event for professionals in, and transitioning to Ghana, to establish and grow their brands.  We provide space and opportunity for interdisciplinary collaboration, which is the cornerstone of our work at NORI.

Let’s Link Up facilitates space to not only build those networks but also discuss, collaborate and strategise.  </p><p>Let’s Link Up is a regular discussion and networking event for professionals who are dedicated to, and working towards seeing sustainable change for Africans, regardless of their location, in our lifetime. </p><h2>Event details</h2><p>🗓: 29th September 2023 </p><p>🕔: from 5pm onwards </p><p>📍: The Hayvin, 4th Floor Evita 3 Building East Legon (opposite A&amp;C mall). </p><h2>Event Outline</h2><h3>The event is split into 3 sections. </h3><h3>-	Session 1: Networking: </h3><p>The NORI team will be providing well-structured networking activities, alleviating the pressure of networking and allowing meaningful connections to be made.</p><h3>-	Session 2: Panel discussions: </h3><p>We are proud to have partnered with two amazing individuals: Abena Richardson and Oliver Barker-Vormawor, who will be sharing their experiences of transitioning back to Ghana and the work they are doing. </p><p>Abena Richardon is the cofounder of Destination Africa, a philanthropist, educator, presenter as well as a wife and mother. </p><p>Oliver Barker-Vormawor is a prolific social justice activist, public interest lawyer and the Executive Director of Democratic Accountability Lab. </p><p>Q&amp;A session: an opportunity for you to ask our guests questions. </p><h3>-	Session 3: After-party: </h3><p>Time to relax and continue to build on your networks. We believe through research and education, sustainable growth, development and transformation in Africa is achievable in this lifetime. Our overall goal is to establish a global network of Africans and allies, using their knowledge, skills and resources to identify and implement solutions to all the problems facing Africans all over the world. Through education, we disseminate this knowledge enabling the collective to become self-reliant, thus truly free. </p><p>As part of this year&#x27;s objectives is to establish and develop the network of professionals, mentioned above, the “Let’s Link Up” initiative is the first step. As previously stated, “Let’s Link Up” is a regular discussion and networking event that brings together individuals from a wide range of professional backgrounds to network and discuss important topics leading to collaborations that make a positive impact on the collective. Our medium-term goal is to have “Let&#x27;s Link Up” events happening across the continent and in the diaspora. In the long-term, we will launch an annual international summit that will bring together our partners from around the world to further collaborate and strategize. This underpins the theme for our inaugural event: </p><h2>Change – what we want &amp; how to get it. </h2>
