LET’S MEND

LET’S MEND

Saturday, May 30  •  2 PM - 6 PM
Overview

We are exploring what it means to mend! Focusing on conflict and repair within our own community. Bring old clothes, friends and curiosity!

We’re exploring what it means to mend not just our clothes, but our relationships and communities.

As trans and queer people, many of us want to live more sustainably and take care of what we already have, but don’t always have access to the skills.

Mending becomes a way to build autonomy, share knowledge, and support each other’s survival.

At the same time, we know we rely on one another for care, connection, and resources. Especially when wider systems fail us. So how do we hold conflict, repair, and coexistence in our relationships during high-stakes times? How do we mend?

At TRIBE, we’re bringing these questions together. We’ll gather to repair our clothes while opening up conversations about rupture, repair, and relational skills across friendships, organising, and community.

This is a space we shape together. A space to learn, share, and imagine new ways of being , while caring for what we already have.
