The Refreshment Rooms

<h2>Rock Park Conservation Area, designated in February 1979, was formed as an estate by and for Liverpool merchants. It has great views across the Mersey Estuary . A steam ferry service in 1830 helped the development of the area and encouraged more people to move across the river. The design of houses was left to architects employed by individual land owners but had to comply with the Park’s guidelines set out in 1837.
