Let's Talk About Hoarding Workshop for Professionals
On Wednesday 17 June, join MRS Independent Living's Making Room team in person for an insightful workshop designed specifically for professionals interested in exploring and thinking about perspectives on hoarding and how it is understood in various contexts.
This engaging session will offer participants an opportunity to talk about their practice in light of different views and approaches outlined in current research and thinking. The session will be facilitated by a Senior Decluttering Practitioner with extensive frontline experience of supporting people with hoarding behaviour in Hackney and surrounding boroughs in north east London.
Participants will be expected to contribute to discussions, consider new ideas, draw on critical thinking, and reflect on their work. We'll dive into practical approaches, research, and talk about real-world strategies to support individuals struggling with hoarding. It's a great chance to learn, connect with peers, and build your confidence in effectively supporting people who hoard.
The session runs from 10.30am to 4pm, with comfort breaks and a 30 minute break for lunch. Please note that lunch is not provided - please bring your own.
The price includes VAT (£75+VAT)
