A session to enable conversation around the topics of dying and death, recognising that it remains a taboo for many, and aiming at normalising the conversation.
Talking about dying and death can be tricky and people often have insecurities or anxieties in approaching the subject. We want to create an opportunity to talk openly about the terminology around death, encourage conversations around tables, as well as answer any questions people may bring.
Sesson Facilitated by:
Melanie Pickering, Care Coordinator and communications Manager Townships 1
Jan Browse, Community Development Worker – Mental Health
Rev Debora Marschner, Methodist minister
Please note: This event is also being delivered on Thursday May 9th : 1pm - 3pm at Woodhouse Community Hub & Library. You can book tickets for that here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/880123983527?aff=oddtdtcreator
