Join Vicky Begg of The Sports Counsel &amp; Kelly Ludwig, health &amp; wellness coach for a discussion about staying active through perimenopause &amp; beyond.During this interactive session, we&#x27;ll be talking about why physical activity is fundamental to managing your menopause journey &amp; to your overall health &amp; wellbeing. Together, we are stronger. By sharing our personal experiences, knowledge &amp; ideas, we can support each other to maintain our physical activity through this transitional period in our lives. Refreshments will be available to order from the menu at Peckham&#x27;s. About your hostsVicky BeggVicky is an experienced triathlete and former Head Coach of Glasgow Triathlon Club. Sport and her life are inextricably linked and she can&#x27;t think of a time when sport and activity haven&#x27;t played a part. Her special interest is in menopause &amp; sport &amp; she wrote her dissertation on this topic as part of her MSc in Psychology of Sport. Her findings reveal that there&#x27;s a limited understanding of how menopause affects women and their attitudes to sport and physical activity. She believes it&#x27;s up to women to change this and through her work, she is educating and empowering women in order to help them stay active throughout their menopause journey. From there, she started running, became a yoga teacher and did her first triathlon at 41. After experiencing burnout as an additional support needs teacher of 13 years, she re-trained as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the world&#x27;s leading health coaching and integrative nutrition school.Kelly is passionate about helping others live their healthiest, happiest lives. She has a special interest in food &amp; mood &amp; supports her clients to develop positive, healthy habits around food &amp; lifestyle that can be incorporated into everyday life.
