Let's Walk along the Kennet & Avon Canal

These walks are along sections of the Eastern end of the Kennet & Avon Canal, between Reading and Bedwyn.

Why not come along and walk, get active, make new friends on one of our walk leader led walks . All you need to do is book in on this free walking session. This is a circular walk from County Lock, winding it's way through Reading Town Centre looking at historic places of interest. The walk is about 3 miles, and will take around 2 hours.Book nowPlease book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite. This event is free for all participants who attend on the day. However, if you have booked on, subsequently fail to cancel and simply don’t show up on the day, you are liable to be invoiced for the standard £20.00 administration fee, chargeable for each ticket booked.Therefore, if your circumstances do suddenly change and you find you are no longer able to attend, please cancel via the Eventbrite ticket booking system using the link that you can find on your ticket. This can be found at the bottom of your ticket and has a link directly to “cancel my ticket”.We ask for your co-operation in this matter.
