Develop a board or card game to communicate your research with the help of an expert Game Designer!

The #LetsPlayScience Game Design Workshop will introduce you to the principles of board and card game design! Whether it be rolling dice, moving along a board or drawing cards, games are accessible for both players and designers, and provide an excellent medium for communicating research! By the end of this session you will have gained the skills to turn any narrative or piece of scientific research into an exciting and engaging game-play experience, and will have begun to develop your own printable, science-themed game, either individually or in a small group!The #LetsPlayScience workshop is lead by Jake Montanarini, the Game Designer behind <a href="https://www.montanarini.games/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Montanarini Games</a>, and is open to all EnvEast, ARIES and NRP DTP students.A follow-up session, where further guidance will be provided to help you refine and share your game, will be organised following this workshop.
