LEVEL 1 + LEVEL 2 | USUI REIKI CERTIFICATED COURSE | ALONE OR COMBINED

LEVEL 1: Self-healing, and others (Shoden) beginner level

This first level is also called Shoden, which is the Japanese word meaning 'first teachings'. It is the first level of teaching in the traditional Japanese branch of Reiki called Usui Reiki Ryoho.

The course is a profoundly grounded spiritual experience that offers an abundance of methods and tools that you may use throughout your life to support everything that being human cradles. Shoden will allow your hidden 'knowing' to surface and also gently guide you by reconnecting to your spirit and soul.

With this primary focus on self-healing, developing practices, and promoting their well-being, the benefits of Shoden are learning to heal oneself, cultivating compassion towards emotions, and clearing energy channels that will support finding flow with the sacred energy of life.

During this one-day course, learn about your self-healing through Reiki. The sacred energy of life will gently integrate mindfulness and together meditation practices allowing you to connect the present, with others and nature. In addition, practical sessions are provided so that students can instantly feel comfortable working on friends, family, and pets after their Shoden attunement.

Nurturing self-healing, cultivating empathy for our feelings, unclogging energetic channels, and establishing a connection with the ultimate life force. Designed with beginners in mind, the course will meet you where you are, regardless of how many Reiki treatments you've had and how much you've read up on - the course is designed to meet you wherever you are.

Exploring energy management of self, project and absorbing that of others, and how to navigate through these emotions and feelings.

You will be taught Eastern-style Reiki as well as Western-style Reiki allowing learners to find their path within the broader spectrum of Reiki practices. I offer an open channel for you and support you after your training, embracing a sense of community and guidance for individuals as they continue their Reiki journey.

LEVEL 2: The Inner or Hidden Teachings (Okuden)

In Japan, the Reiki level 2 Course is called Okuden, the inner or hidden teachings. This level welcomes us into the inner or hidden dimension within ourselves and deepens our connection to Reiki.

Like in Level 1, you'll receive an attunement and you will learn about the sacred Reiki symbols used to enhance the flow and focus of Reiki energy. With the introduction of the Distance symbol, practitioners learn techniques for sending Reiki energy across space and time. This allows participants to conduct healing sessions for individuals who are not physically present, such as loved ones in other locations or past/future timelines.

Learning advanced techniques for specific healing intentions, such as emotional healing, mental clarity, and spiritual growth, this level involves a deeper exploration of self-healing techniques as well as learning how to treat others professionally as a practitioner.

Peter is a Reiki Master, artist and a facilitator to young people, supporting + assisting them to access their own creative expression through visual arts.

Peter is currently studying Hermetic philosophy, Akashics + soul channeling, amongst other healing modalities + has a keen interest in astro-cartography + resonance healing.
