Sean is passionate is helping organisations, and individuals, become more secure. Sean initial started his career as a developer working for several organisations before landing at his role at Secureworks, a leading Managed Security Services Provider. After initially joining the organisation as a developer, Sean moved into an application security role. A role which he held for many years before moving to Immersive Labs, a leading online security training platform, where Sean owned and helped to build the application security training provided by the organisation. During his tenure he managed to successfully drive the product to compete with many well-known vendors. Missing the hands-on side of application security, Sean joined Featurespace to help develop and drive the organisation’s application security program. Outside of his work, Sean is also an active contributor to the wider security community, giving numerous security-based talks across the UK.
