A confident starting point for inclusive practice
Creating inclusive spaces doesn’t require having all the answers — it starts with understanding, empathy and confidence to engage respectfully.
This half-day (3-hour) LGBTQ+ Awareness & Inclusion session is a welcoming, practical introduction designed for individuals, teams and organisations who want to ensure everyone feels respected, safe and included.
Delivered by Lanarkshire Pride CIC, this session is rooted in lived experience and real-world delivery — not theory alone.

About the organisers
Lanarkshire Pride CIC is the only LGBTQ+ organisation working across both North and South Lanarkshire. We deliver year-round outreach and support programmes across local communities and are the organisers of the annual Pride South Lanarkshire event.
Our work is rooted in community connection, visibility and inclusion — and that experience shapes everything we deliver in our training sessions.
