LGN Spring Seminar 2026

Lady Sainsbury Lecture TheatreRichmond, England
Friday, Mar 27 from 8:30 am to 4 pm GMT
Overview

Speakers from the horticulture industry come together to talk about "Vital ecologies: The evolving role of gardeners". Come learn & network.

We invite you to our 2026 spring seminar where we have gathered new and established speakers from across the industry. They will shed light on the importance of connections between gardens and their ecological and local communities. By bringing forward often-hidden relations in garden ecosystems and by sharing our knowledge and stories, we hope to explore together how gardeners can grow in support of both people and our planet.

The line-up:

Lucy Hart and Joe Beale : The Wild Side of Fulham Palace: Biodiversity surveys from an historic landscape.

Marius Sidaravicius,  Harang Seo & Blanche Cameron: Wild Campus Commons - student-led biodiverse habitats for Living Labs

Wild City Studio and Susanna Grant: Experimental Playgrounds

Ashby Sachs and Vicky Shearing: Inside the RHS Wellbeing Garden Blueprint: Designing wellbeing gardens that empower people and place

Shereen Chung-Blake: How cross-pollination in people improves vitality and biodiversity in green spaces for us all

Grow Wild, Chloe Booth and Robin Moran: The power of stories to cultivate connection

Your ticket price includes:

  • A vegan lunch and refreshments
  • Entry to Kew, so you'll have a chance to explore the garden during breaks and when the seminar finishes

We hope you'll enjoy learning and digesting this years’ seminar themes and meeting new and old friends in the industry.

Location:

Lady Sainsbury Lecture Theatre, RBG, Kew, TW9 3DS
