LIDA Seminar: Retail Analytics

Leeds Institute for Data Analytics

The Leeds Institute for Data Analytics is pleased to announce our next Seminar of the series showcasing data analytics.
For this event we welcome Dr Andy Newing from the Centre for Spatial Analysis and Policy from the School of Geography at the University of Leeds. Dr Newing's talk will focus on the CDRC Retail Masters Dissertation Programme: Using workplace population statistics to understand store trading characteristics.
We also welcome Mr Tom Waddington, also from the School of Geography at the University of Leeds, who's talk is titled "Temporal profiling in the grocery sector: developing and refining a spatial interaction model".
Our main speaker at this event is Professor Alex Singleton, Professor of Geographic Information Science at the University of Liverpool. His talk will focus on the dynamics of urban form and function.
Following the seminar there will be a networking reception with drinks and nibbles.
