A ‘chart-shopping’ celebration of Lidl’s 100th store in Scotland

We’re teaming up with Scottish pop rocker KT Tunstall – to bring you ‘Lidl Live’ – a ‘chart-shopping’ tour that invites you to join us as we celebrate the run-up to the opening of our 100th Scottish store.

Here at Lidl, we’re ‘Big On’ Scotland and what better way to celebrate this momentous milestone than with a tour of the country with national treasure, KT Tunstall.

Coming to a Scottish town near you, the one-off ‘Lidl Live’ charity shows will see the Suddenly-I-See-singer return to her roots for evening performances from Aberdeen to Ayr, with all proceeds from ticket sales going to the STV Children’s Appeal.

Relishing the opportunity to perform on home turf, the star has found time to join our fun-filled tour of food and music in a busy schedule between her ‘West Coast Ramble’ tour of California, supporting pop rock duo Hall & Oates at Madison Square Gardens and joining 80’s legend Rick Astley’s UK tour in 2020.

As well as live concerts, look out for KT popping up at Lidl stores and local schools across the country including the main act – drum roll please - our 100th store opening in a mystery location on 25 January!

Performing her greatest hits including Black Horse and the Cherry Tree alongside new songs from KT’s latest album, WAX, KT will also be joined by a support act at each gig.

Tickets to the event cost £7.50 plus an extra £1.18 booking fee. All proceeds from ticket sales and additional profit from the sale of drinks at each concert will be donated to Lidl’s long-standing charity partner, STV Children’s Appeal, which helps children and young people across Scotland affected by poverty.

The £7.50 ticket price includes entry to the event and one welcome drink per guest.

*The Edinburgh concert forms part of the Burns&Beyond Festival Culture Crawl with the ‘KT & Friends’ performance starting at 6.30pm along with a packed programme of entertainment in eight city centre venues.

Important information and T&Cs:

For the purposes of these T&Cs, “Lidl” shall include any event organiser acting on Lidl’s behalf (including its affiliates, agents and media agencies).

• Tickets to Lidl Live with KT Tunstall cost £7.50 per ticket (exclusive of £1.18 booking fee per ticket) with the ticket price going to STV Children’s Appeal. Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite up to 1 hour before the relevant event slot. You must follow the entry instructions as given on the Site and these instructions form part of the T&Cs.
• Eventbrite operate and are responsible for the Site, no responsibility will be taken by Lidl for the operation of the Site. Attendees must have booked their tickets and have registered via Eventbrite in order to gain admission.
• Except as otherwise required by applicable law, Lidl shall not be liable for the content of any externally linked web sites.
• Attendees must be aged 18 or over. Photo ID in the form of a valid passport or driving licence will be required. No under 18s or those without suitable ID will be admitted and a Challenge 25 policy will be in place at the bar.
• Aberdeen, Strathpeffer & Ayr guests must arrive when doors open at 6.30pm prior to the first performance at 7pm. All guests will be asked to leave the venue when the event finishes at 9.30pm.
• Edinburgh guests must arrive when doors open at 6pm prior to the first performance at 6.30pm. All guests can then participate in the full Burns&Beyond Culture Crawl event taking place in eight venues across the City Centre.
• Lidl have the right to refuse entry.
• Lidl have the right to refuse to serve alcohol to any person.
• No re-entry is allowed.
• Lidl reserve the right to cancel/amend the events.
• Attendance will only be accepted for the specific date and time slot stated on the ticket.
• Please ensure that you print out your tickets prior to arrival at the event.
• Tickets are not transferable and cannot be resold. Invalid, lost, deleted, misdirected, amended, destroyed, defaced or stolen tickets, or that have incorrect or inaccurate entry information, will not be replaced or accepted.
• By attending these events you accept that you may be photographed or filmed for the purposes of promotion of the event by Lidl and that no fees or recompense shall be payable by Lidl or such third parties. If you do not wish to be photographed, you must inform the event organiser at the time of entering the event.
• Lidl shall not be responsible for any personal property and/or any lost, damaged or stolen items.
• Attendees are responsible for all costs and expenses relating to attending the event, such as the cost of accessing the internet and transport to the events.
• To the fullest extent possible in law, Lidl does not accept liability for any losses or claims whatsoever arising out of participation or attendance of the event.
• Any question concerning the legal interpretation of this will be based on the law of England and Wales and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Cloakroom facilities are available at Aberdeen, Strathpeffer and Ayr events.

• Is this an accessible venue?

All venues are fully accessible for wheelchair users and guests who are unable to use staircases.

• Can I bring a plus one?

All guests must be registered and have a ticket to a specific event.

• Are there a maximum number of tickets?

There is a maximum number of 2 tickets per person and per order. You will not be permitted re-entry.

• How much are tickets?

Tickets are £7.50 with a £1.18p booking fee.

• How long should I arrive before each session?

Please arrive for doors opening at each venue at 6.15pm.

• What if I don’t turn up on time?

We can’t guarantee entry if you arrive after the start time of 7pm.

• How long is each session?

Each event will last 2hrs 30mins.

• Is there a limit to how long I can stay?

We will kindly be asking guests to leave when the event ends at 9.30pm.

• Do you anticipate the event will sell out? How quickly?

We think customers will be as excited for these events as we are and it will be extremely popular – make sure you get your tickets quickly!

• What if I want to change or cancel my tickets?

Tickets must be cancelled through Eventbrite. If you wish to change your booking, please cancel your tickets and re-book for another location.
