Walk and Talk: Allestree Park Rewilding Project

‘Creating a natural health service by providing nature - rich greenspace’

To lead this discussion we have two fantastic speakers:

David Winslow, Community Parks Officer, Derby City Council

Katherine Clarke, Urban Rewilding Lead, Derbyshire Wildlife Trust

Project Vision

People and wildlife are sharing our towns and cities, and spaces within and surrounding our urban areas are spared for nature to lead and flourish. People have access to good quality wildlife where they live, and together, people and nature are leading nature’s recovery, addressing the climate crisis and improving people’s health and wellbeing. Join us for an insight into the project followed by a guided walk around the park.

Wednesday 1st May 2024 at the Red Cow Pub, Allestree, DE22 2DZ

Doors open at 5.30pm

6:00pm – 6:30pm – LIEM AGM (including LI presentation)

6:30pm – 7:30pm - Parks presentation on the rewilding project.
