<DIV CLASS="text_exposed_root text_exposed"><SPAN>This week our model Jacque (drawn in the cover photo) will base his poses on the concept of contrast. An open palm, a closed fist, the body stretched tall, then cocooned inwards on itself. A lean to the left, then to the right; a circle followed by angles. Languor, followed by awkwardness. Opposition and balance. </SPAN><BR><BR><BR>Join us at our weekly life drawing sessions at <A HREF="http://www.summerhall.co.uk/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Summerhall's </A>Anatomy Lecture Theatre, Wednesdays 7-9pm (doors 6.45). It's drop-in, £6 on the door, or you can pre book via Eventbrite for a guaranteed seat. There's no tutoring per se but we welcome all ages and stages, and I (<A HREF="http://www.topazpauls.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Topaz</A>) will be on hand t<SPAN CLASS="text_exposed_hide"></SPAN><SPAN CLASS="text_exposed_show">o give help to those who want it. We'll provide the models and drawing boards, and there's materials to buy and to borrow, though you're welcome to bring your favoured paraphernalia. There'll be good tunes during the drawing and good chat during the breaks and you're welcome to pop to the bar anytime and even bring your bevvy through (brownie points for bringing a keep cup!). Sometimes more, sometimes less experimental, always something new, different, surprising.
