Event description

Description

Every second Wednesday of the month except for Festival Fringe August.

Free Entry - donations welcome to save up for a bigger event in the Traverse bar or theatre. We have £57 saved up so far. Can you help to organise this?

'Read My Work' relax at our next meeting. Then Open Mic bring along 'A Christmas Story' on 11 December!

Invite a friend along to read or perform your writing or read your own brilliant work. Welcoming atmosphere.

Congregate first please in the Atrium at 19.10 by the main entrance. If we are not there at 19.25 please head for the Traverse basement cafe. We are independent of The Traverse but they kindly lend our writers their facilities on the second Wednesday of the month. Please therefore send any enquiries to Rose. Thank you.

"I was there last month and it was LOADS of fun! Totally worth going to, great atmosphere and nice chance to pick the brains of talented writers".

- Alex Rkc

"Lovely evening at Spooky Prose and Poetry Open Mic Night, run by the super ace Rose Ann Fraser Ritchie and Ross Hepburn. Read out a very new and hopefully very sad ghost story, and got to listen to lots of other excellent work."

Paul Case - Spoken Word
