Join us for Lino & Clay, a unique evening of enjoying printmaking and ceramics together!

Lino Printing on Ceramic Tiles WorkshopJoin us at Lino &amp; Clay for a unique, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of lino printing and explore an exciting twist- printing your designs onto ceramic tiles using underglaze.Guided by artist Zafeerah Heesambee, in collaboration with Landwave Studios, you’ll be introduced to the full lino printing process. From carving your own lino block to experimenting with transferring your design onto clay, this session brings together traditional printmaking and contemporary ceramics in a creative and accessible way.Once complete, your ceramic tiles will be professionally kiln-fired and ready for collection approximately two weeks after the workshop.By the end of the session, you’ll leave with:<ul><li>Your own hand-carved lino block</li><li>A unique ceramic tile featuring your printed design</li><li>New skills in both lino printing and ceramic decoration</li></ul>What you’ll learn:<ul><li>The fundamentals of lino printing</li><li>How to carve and prepare your own lino block</li><li>Techniques for printing onto ceramic surfaces using underglaze</li><li>An introduction to ceramics and tile-based design</li></ul>This is a beginner-friendly workshop, and all materials will be provided.Just bring your creativity! Doors open at 18:30 and the workshop will start promptly at 19:00.
