Lino Printing Workshop – Create Your Own Hand-Printed Artwork

Join Studio Infinara for a relaxed and creative evening exploring the beautiful art of lino printing.

This welcoming workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as those who have tried lino printing before. With a small group of just 10 participants, there will be plenty of guidance and support throughout the evening.

You’ll learn how to design, carve and print your own lino block to create a series of unique hand-printed artworks.

Our experienced and passionate instructor Sarah has more than a decade of teaching experience and is a local artist who has been creating art her whole life. She will guide you through the Lino printing process, step-by-step, so no prior art experience is necessary !

What you’ll do

During the workshop you will:

• Learn the basics of lino printing
• Design and carve your own lino block
• Experiment with printing techniques
• Create your own set of black and white hand-printed artworks to take home

Designing your print

You’re welcome to bring along a printed image or idea to work from, or you can choose from a selection of nature-inspired imagery provided on the evening.

What’s included

All materials and tools are provided, including:

• Lino blocks
• Carving tools
• Black printing ink
• Quality printing paper
• Step-by-step guidance

Just bring yourself and enjoy a creative evening.
You may wish to wear dark/black or older clothing as we will be using black printing ink.

A relaxed creative space

Workshops are kept small (maximum 10 people) so everyone receives individual support. Whether you're completely new to printmaking or returning to it, you’ll be guided through the process in a friendly and encouraging environment.

This workshop is limited to just 10 places, so early booking is recommended.
