Linocut workshop with Sue Welfare

Suitable for beginners and those with some experience of linocut printing, the day will be a relaxed and supportive day of creativity. We are going to be working on a simgle-layer print, with lots of colours available. Using light, shade, line and texture to explore print ideas and develop a range of mark-making techniques and skills, before creating a final.pieve and a small edition of A5 prints. All specialist tools and materials provided. Please bring an apron/old clothes, printmaking is inevitably messy! Feel free to bring along inspirational images or ideas you would like to develop. Please bring a packed lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.
