Linoprinting Fun with Colour Layers

Level: suitable for beginners and developers.

This lino printing workshop explores simple ways of working with layers of transparent and opaque colours.

Skills covered include design planning, colour visualising, lino cutting technique, registration process, printing a multi-layered print, ‘rainbow-roll’ inking.

You will be creating several finished prints with variations in colourways. There will be opportunity to develop designs further during the progression of your work, using the knowledge gained through exploring the process.

A card picture mount will be provided for your favourite print,and there will be opportunity to purchase a small frame.

All materials will be provided, including design inspiration materials and ideas. However please do bring your own ideas if wished – they need to be simple!

A 1 hour time slot will be allowed for lunch, a table will be booked at Cobbles and Clay but you also have the option of going anywhere on the Main Street.

Workshop price includes Cake and Coffee too!
