Social Innovation Exchange(www.socialinnovationexchange.org)SIX is a global organisation focusing on accelerating learning and exchange across borders and sectors, in order to help organisations better solve and prepare for the societal challenges we face. Since 2008, we have worked with dozens of partners from governments, companies, foundations and NGOs, across 6 continents. We’ve hosted hundreds of events, fed into policy agendas and developed programmes to advance new agendas.

Reshaping Europe - A global dialogue series, this time in conversation with Ezio Manzini on his recent book, Livable Proximity

Ezio Manzini is a leading thinker in design for social innovation and sustainability and the founder of DESIS. Louise Pulford (CEO, SIX) will talk with Ezio about his new book, <a href="https://www.egeaeditore.it/ita/prodotti/sociologia/livable-livable-proximityproximity.aspx" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Livable proximity: Ideas for the City that Cares</a>, and discuss what it means to build a city starting from the life of the citizens and an idea of livable proximity, drawing on examples and commitments from cities such as Milan, Barcelona and Paris. This event is part of Reshaping Europe - A global dialogue series that we are launching as part of our <a href="https://si-alliance.eu" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">European Social Innovation Alliance </a>work. The online conversation series aims to inspire and provide insights for social innovation ecosystems and actors in Europe. We will be connecting not only with global social innovation leaders in Europe but also from other parts of the world. Each conversation features a global thinker and doer who will shed light on thought provoking ideas and inspiring examples of social innovation.
